Because you could get in trouble for not starting your work shift on time. Because I technically lied to you in order to get you in your office alone?

[He made it a point not to lie to Rumlow after all, and not just because the man happened to be his commander. He found it much easier when he was honest, even if the words didn't always come as he wanted them to. He certainly didn't want Rumlow to get into trouble because of something that he had done, even if he accepted to a degree that it was inevitable.

He pressed himself back on Rumlow and then set his hands on the desk pushing his shoulders up and then rising so that he could lean against his commander's chest. He smeared some of the mess back on Rumlow in the process, but his hands reached behind him so that he could curl his fingers loosely at the back of his commander's neck.]


Is that permission to try something like this again in future?
